Research

The Dartington Cattle Breeding Trust has been involved with a number of research projects over the years.

Currently, funding is allocated to a research project investigating heifer lameness through the Royal Veterinary College.

Recent projects have been very successful including:

University of Reading – Jersey milk used in cheese production

Royal Veterinary College – Routine foot checks at 80 days in milk with mobility scoring for the control and prevention of lameness in dairy cattle
